It's the Seychellois Creole word for it. A word we use carefully. For us it means the small things — the smell of cinnamon from a neighbour's kitchen, the call of bulbuls at first light, the way the sea changes colour every hour of every day. The things you only notice when you slow down.
We built Otantik Residence to share that pace with travellers who want it too. Not a hotel. Not a resort. A place to live for a week or two as we do.
